Me and my boyfriend had a wonderful experience here! Our server (Ashley) was so bubbly and held a great conversation with us. Super attentive and super sweet. Plus our food was amazing, have absolutely nothing wrong to say about this place. We sat outside and had a beautiful view as well! Loved everything about it and definitely coming again.

Outstanding food, and excellent service every time I come here. I cannot eat pizza anywhere else now is the only negative. I hate to spread the word but I hope this place stays around for a long time lol. The name of the pizza with sausage is the 2003.

Came for a late lunch on a Sunday. Nice place & friendly service. They specialize in brick oven pizzas but also have some pasta dishes. We started off with their eggplant tower. It was pretty good but I tend to like my eggplant a bit less firm. For our main dishes we got the spaghetti carbonara and the 2000 pizza. Their pizzas are named with a year in which an event happened with the family. The spaghetti carbonara was good but for me it was not as "strong" in flavor as I've had in Italy and some other places. The menu said they use guanciale like it should be, but it was like small ground pieces vs bigger chunks and the cheese flavor was sort of mild like they didn't use enough. The one difference from original carbonara is they added onions. The pizza was very good. The 2000 has parmigiana cheese, prosciutto & arugula. We saved room for dessert and got the tiramisu and pistachio gelato. Both were very good. Overall a very good meal.

My new favorite pizza place! This place is packed and I can see why! I ordered the 2011 and the veggie pizza 2011 both satisfied our appetites and perfect with a good red wine! Love this place!

Food is very high quality. Pizzas are cooked to perfection. We tried the 2017 with spinach and ricotta. Ate it all! Staff is friendly and service was excellent.

Went on a lunchtime on Thursday and the place was stacked. Ordered a pizza with cappacola and it was delicious, got a lemonade with grenadine to top it off. My girl got linguine and wine. Our server was polite and attentive. The bill was ok for what was ordered. The wine being the priciest menu item . All in all it was a great experience! Bravo Angelos!

We tried this restaurant after a full day of house hunting in the area and the last house we saw was one we loved the neighborhood of. So we searched for restaurants around it to eat at before driving back home to Oceanside. We actually saw Fughettaboutit wine bar (not sure if that's the exact spelling but later found out that they're owned by the same family) and wanted to try it but it didn't open for another 30 mins and we had two hungry young kiddos. So we decided to try Angelo's after seeing the high Yelp reviews. Upon entering, l loved seeing the deli case filled with imported food items. We were quickly seated and ordered. My husband ordered a Caesar salad and l ordered the burrata with pesto and blistered tomatoes to start. My husband said the salad was wonderful. The burrata was also delicious. For entrees we ordered a pizza and opted to have half of it cheese for the kids and the other half a meat lover's type option with pepperoni, sausage, and meatballs. I ordered the beef pappardelle. The cheese pizza was my favorite. And outside of Europe and the east coast, this pizza was just amazing. I haven't found a good replacement since moving back to the west coast until now. And believe me, l have tried very reputable restaurants that also import their ingredients and no, they weren't great. This fortunately, was fabulous. If l lived in the area l would probably come weekly. As it was, it was so good on Saturday that we ended up coming back the very next day to dine there again! The service was excellent both times. I never had to ask for a refill and that is really a big selling point for me when it comes to service. Well, let's get back to the food! The pizza...why do l like theirs so much? Because l love soft pillowy bread with a little crunch on the outside. This has that. They probably use that 00 flour from Italy. I do know they import ALL their ingredients from Italy, even the cheese! So you're getting top of the line items. The pappardelle? Was chock full of meat! For the price, l was really shocked at the large amount of meat it came with. I would also expect it to cost more for how much quality meat was in it. Also, l didn't ask but my husband and l both felt the noodles were handmade. They were perfection! Onto dessert...we ordered the mini cannolis thinking our kids would want to try them (so darn picky!) but they didn't. I did ask before ordering if they were pre-filled or filled to order. And when they confirmed they were filled to order, l decided to make sure and order them. Their filling was probably the best l have had for a cannoli. My husband isn't a fan of cannolis but upon hearing they weren't pre filled, tried one and did say they were the best he has ever had as well. My kiddos shared the chocolate gelato and everyone was very full and satisfied. Even so, we ordered a large pannetone to take home with us for Christmas with the family to share. Love that they had so many new-to-me flavors of pannetone. There was a lemoncello one, wine, and a chocolate pear. The next night we heard there may have been a pistachio one as well. We took home a chocolate pear one and are excited to try it in a few days. Our first waitress (Saturday) said to make French toast out of the slices. What a wonderful and delectable suggestion we will probably try the day after Christmas! My husband then said it would probably be good dipped in cornflakes before putting it into the pan. Yum! On Sunday we got to meet Angelo, and our waitress said he was always at the restaurant and is a great boss to work for. You can tell that Angelo's has heart and soul in it's ambiance. This place is truly a gem and we will be back. Often! Oh! One last thing. On my second trip here, we saw a woman who had her purse in a basket on the floor. I wasn't sure if the woman brought the basket or if the restaurant provided it, but once they left and the basket remained, l realized the restaurant provided it. The chairs have rounded backs so purse straps wouldn't stay easily. SMART! Thoughtful!

Wow amazing food is being made here. Had this on the bookmarks and finally able to stop in. Has a more industrial feel inside with warm wood tones. Clean and organized with great service. The fresh pasta was so flavorful, sauce was rich perfectly coating every noodle. Nice plump morsels of guanciale and fresh Parmesan cheese. The 2007 angelo visits Napa loved the wine pizza was a combination of goodness. Chicken pesto and pine nuts. Nice crust not soggy or floppy held its toppings till you were ready to crunch down. Wonderful experience and great place to enjoy lunch, dinner date night or time with the family.
